Alabama vs Indiana - Collegiate Rugby Championship


The Indiana Hoosiers overcame an early Alabama Crimson Tide try to win by a score of 27-12. Under a minute into the game, Alabama’s Shawn Branham went down with an apparent ankle injury going for a loose ball. The Tide rallied around him, scoring the first triy of the game quickly after, but missing the conversion. Indiana responded with a long try from Jake Hidalgo. They added a conversion to go up 7-5. Just minutes later, Alabama’s Matt Schick beat the last man down the pitch for a try, and added a conversion to go up by three. Indiana added a score and a try to knot the game up at half. The Hoosiers opened the second half with a try from Bryce Campbell. The try was no good, but Indiana still increased their lead to eight points. They would add another try and conversion as time expired from Teddy Terezis.
