Army vs Maryland - Collegiate Rugby Championship

Army claimed the Bowl at the CRC with a 10-0 win over Maryland. Army dominated the first half with two hard-working tries by Torran Raby. Play stagnated after the two tries, and neither team could get very far into the offensive end. Maryland had their best possession of the half at the horn, but couldn’t get to the opposing 22 before the half ran out. In the second half, Maryland tried to press the ball deep, but couldn’t get past a fit Army defense that had lots of stamina. The Black Knights eventually forced a turnover, but gave it right back to the Terps. Maryland got within inches of the try line, but were not awarded a try and Army had the opportunity to clear. With less than 30 seconds remaining, Maryland had the chance to bring it back up, but Army were awarded a penalty and the opportunity to run out the clock and claim the Bowl.
