Boston College vs Notre Dame - Collegiate Rugby Championship

Notre Dame struck first with a solid run from Sean O’Leary between multiple Boston College defenders. The Irish broke through again, this time with some tough play from Pat McMahon around the try line following a line-out. They converted on top of both tries to make the score 14-0 midway through the first half. Boston College followed it up with some pressure of their own, and finally went in for a try from Thomas Duggan. With just seconds remaining in the half, Luc Joseph brought the Irish to a 19-5 lead with a great try run. Midway through the second half, Danny Schatzman caught the Irish sleeping and went in untouched for a try to make it 19-10 Irish. A last-ditch effort for more points at the end proved successful for the Eagles, as William Hock added one more try for Boston College as time expired.
