Clemson vs Temple - Collegiate Rugby Championship

The Temple Owls will face off against the Boston College Eagles in the CRC Shield final after topping Clemson 21-17. Clemson opened the scoring midway through the first half by way of a Nick Richards try. Temple Equalize just before the half as Jeremy Engel knifes his way through the middle for a try to draw level at 7-7. Temple carry the momentum out of the halftime break as captain Peter Mulville slices through the center of the Clemson defense for the Owls second try of the match. Clemson answer right back after a nifty pass from Kevin McKeown through his legs to an oncoming Drew Dommel as he powers his way over the try line. Temple answer quickly as Jason Damm knifes though the center of the Clemson defense to extend the Owl’s lead. End to end stuff in the second half as the teams trade trys. Max Simons cuts the Clemson deficit to four. Temple hang on as time expires to clinch a place in the shield final.
