Dartmouth vs Temple - Collegiate Rugby Championship

Match Summary

In a win-and-in match, Dartmouth’s Ollie Engelhart set his side up for success with a try next to the post. Pat Sheey connected on the conversion to make it 7–0. That margin grew larger with a Fuller Winton try a short while later. Jack Badenhausen added five more, along with Engelhart’s conversion to make it 19–0.

A yellow card to Dartmouth’s Struan Coleman for an intentional knock led to Temple’s first points of the match, coming through the hard work of Carson Delany. Adam Shapiro’s conversion made it 19–7 with Dartmouth still ahead.

Dartmouth pushed the lead back to nineteen when Winton scored his second try and Engelhart his second conversion. Temple refused to rollover and Ryan Liebau answered back with a try converted by Shapiro. With a minute left, Liebau’s try kept Temple’s hopes of a draw alive. But Temple knocked on to end the match.

With the win, Dartmouth advances to the quarterfinals.
