Indiana vs Notre Dame - Collegiate Rugby Championship

Bowl Semifinal 2, Indiana v. Notre Dame: Notre Dame got the scoring started with a try by Rob Regan. Neilus Mulvihill managed to fend off Hoosier tacklers to stretch the lead to 10–0. Things got worse for Indiana when Joey Blakeley was sent to the sin bing. Then, mere moments later, Jacob Parmater was sent off, foring the Hoosiers to play five-on-seven. A penalty against Notre Dame at the Indiana five-meter prevented any more damage in the first half. The Hoosiers kicked to touch to end the half facing a tough challenge in the second half.
Remarkably, the Hoosiers stood tall to start the second half and burned both yellow cards without yielding any more points. With just under three minutes to go, Cam McCarthy cut the Irish lead in half. Despite still being in the match, the Hoosiers showed ill-discipline and were lucky to avoid further cards following clear taunting after a tackle into touch and a blatantly late hit. The Irish were able to get the ball back and hold it just long enough to burn the final seconds and kick to touch, booking a trip to the bowl final.
