Indiana vs Virginia Tech - Collegiate Rugby Championship

The Hokies’ Trevor Bruley got scoring started. Nick Kennedy extended the lead with a try next to the Indiana post. Michael Cirbee added the conversion to make it 12–0. Virginia Tech started to make it a rout with Jesse Neighbor’s try.

Indiana got a chance to finally get some points as the first half came to an end when Michael Cirbee was sent to the sin bin, but Indiana failed to capitalize. In the end, IU failed to make anything of the man advantage, seeing Virginia Tech be the next to score, coming through John Gerard and the conversion of Cirbee. Nick Kennedy made it 29–0 with Indiana looking thoroughly beaten and a shadow of the team that looked so promising at the end of Day 1 in a comprehensive victory over Boston College. On full time: Virginia Tech 29, Indiana 0.

The Hokies advance to play Army in the plate final.
