Kutztown vs Lindenwood - Collegiate Rugby Championship

Cup Semifinal 1, Lindenwood v. Kutztown: Wesley White inched Lindenwood closer to a return trip to the final with an unconverted try. The Lions followed up the second-minute score with an error on the restart. Kutztown did nothing with the possession and it was soon Lindenwood in for another try, this one coming through Tyren Al-Jiboori. The Conversion made it 12–0. Al-Jiboori made it a double less than a minute later for the 17–0 lead. Gerald Lowe cut the lead to 17–5. A penalty with Kutztown inches away from paydirt not only deprived the Golden Bears of vital points, it turned into points for the Lions ninety-nine meters the other way, thanks to Lorenzo Thomas.
Al-Jiboori made it a hat trick by out running Dmontae Noble who was hampered with a hamstring injury. The remainder of the match saw Lindenwood sit back in defense, just needing to burn the clock and avoid injuries to advance to the final in prime position for a repeat title. A yellow card with under ten seconds left in the match, gave Kutztown the man advantage but with far too steep a hill to climb with the miniscule time remaining. Pride still proved a sufficient incentive for Brock Stinson to ground a consolation try. The conversion made it 30–12 on full time.
