Life vs UCLA - Collegiate Rugby Championship

Cup Quarterfinal 4, Life v. UCLA: George Phelan ran in the first-minute try for the Running Eagles to secure a 5–0 lead. Mitchell Wilson extended the lead with a try under the post. Duncan Van Schalkwyk made short work of the simple conversion. He then added a self-converted try to make it 19–0 with more than two and a half minutes remaining in the first half. Wilson’s second try under the post put the match on the verge of a blowout. Conner Mooneyham’s unconverted try close the first half all but sealed UCLA’s fate.
The second-half saw UCLA finally get on the board with Jax Carter breaking free down the middle of the pitch for the seven-pointer. But UCLA just could not overcome a great Life squad. A try by Julian Roberts in the final minutes of play made it 33–7 for the Running Eagles.
