Michigan vs Texas - Collegiate Rugby Championship

In a dominating display of speed and grit, the Michigan Wolverines took down the Sequoyah Burke-Combs opened things up for the Wolverines with a try in the corner to give Michigan the early 5-0 lead. With three minutes to go, Michigan’s Zach Burns perfectly feigned a pass before bursting between two defenders and in for a try. A conversion afterwards put the Wolverines in front 12-0. Burke-Combs added another try right with under 30 seconds to go in the half. However, the Longhorns got on the board right before the half thanks to Emmanuel Nwoko. The Wolverines got the second half scoring underway, as Burns scored his second of the match. Will Gaul answered right back for Texas with a nice run of his own. With less than a minute and a half left, Matt Kasten found an extra gear and burst in for a try. The conversion put the score at 29-10 Michigan. They’ll move to 2-1 on the day.
