Michigan vs UCLA - Collegiate Rugby Championship

The UCLA Bruins put on a show for a national audience on NBC, routing the Michigan Wolverines 38-0. Niall Barry had the hot hand for the Bruins in the first half, as he scored a hat trick of tries to give them a 17-0 lead at halftime. Each try was prettier than the last, and his final try required some fancy footwork and a nice fend to get over the try line. UCLA picked up right where they left off in the second half when Seb Sharpe kicked consecutive grubbers down the field and eventually put the ball down for a try. Minutes later, Kent Presson scooped up a loose ball, had open space towards the try line and got over to confirm that the rout was on, and bring UCLA to a 31-0 lead over the Wolverines. At the horn, some soft hands allowed Pierre Courpron to retrieve a ball and score to finish the blowout at 38-0.
