Navy vs Life - Collegiate Rugby Championship

Cup Semifinal 2, Navy v. Life: Life entered looking for its first trip to the final since 2017. The Midshipmen were looking for their first final appearance, having fallen in the 2013 semifinal. The Running Eagles found the try zone in the second minute through Conner Mooneyham. Duncan Van Schalkwyk connected on the conversion, making it 7–0 ahead of the third-minute restart. Duncan Van Schalkwyk ‘s self-converted try put Life in a bad spot. As the half came to a close, Navy had a lineout inside the Life twenty-two. Life defended it well and finished the half fourteen points in front.
The second half started with a yellow card to life, providing a crucial opportunity for the cadets to get back in the match. Down a man, Life was still able to increase its lead with a try from Daemon Torres. Any hope of a miraculous comeback appeared snuffed out when Cole Euverard was sent to the sin bin with just over two minutes to go. With just over a minute remaining, Sava Voyne put Navy on the board with an unconverted try and just under forty seconds to play with the restart. The cadets stole the restart and threatened but couldn’t chip into the lead before the final whistle.
