9:00AM—Freedom Cup Semi-Final 2: Rowan v. West Chester (Stadium); ESPN+
Rowan’s Matt Rhones claimed the first points of the match two minutes in with a try coming down the left wing. John Dormain’s conversion attempt from the touchline fell just short, perhaps a victim of the brisk wind. West Chester answered back with a try by Ryan Morley off a dummy pass. Morley added the conversion. Nick Ulovich extended the West Chester lead moments later with a score in the right corner. Morley’s conversion attempt was well struck but off the mark.

The second half started much like the first had, with Matt Rhones scoring in the corner for Rowan. With the conversion having been missed, West Chester still held the lead. A cracking run by Max Bryson had West Chester inside the Rowan twenty-two following the restart. From there, it was Ryan Morley finding the gap for the score. Matt Opacity kept Rowan in it with a try and conversion leaving ninety seconds to play, still down by two. But Rowan could not close the gap in the end: West Chester 19, Rowan 17.
