8:20AM—NSCRO Semi-Final 2: Salve Regina v. Iowa Central Community College (Stadium); ESPN+
The Tritons of Iowa Central snagged the first points with a blistering run by Jabaree Leopold. Matthew Barker’s conversion was true for the 7–0 lead a quarter of the way into the contest. Leopold found paydirt again on the left wing when the Salve Regina Seahawks got caught committing too many defenders to the interior. Barker could not overcome the swirling winds to add the two points on offer.

Salve Regina closed the half on a better note when Benjamin Brissette took advantage of consecutive Triton penalties and a yellow card against Richard Felton to get the Seahawks first five points of the match.

Still down a man to start the second half, the Tritons were on the back foot for the three minutes. It was not easy, but the Seahawks eventually found the space they needed to get a second try. Joseph Goff’s conversion was no good, keeping Iowa Central ahead by two. Iowa Central’s grip on the lead became more tenuous as not only one, but two Iowa Central players, Anelisa Mteto and Sofiane Ben Meftah, were sent off for indiscipline. As would be expected, Salve Regina scored with the dominant advantage, coming away the 15–12 champions with the try at the end.

Salve Regina will face Claremont in the final on ESPNEWS at 3:27 (EST).
