Texas vs Arkansas State - Collegiate Rugby Championship

The Red Wolves of Arkansas State continued their hot play, beating the Texas Longhorns 22-10. The Longhorns struck first with a powerful run from Emmanuel Nwoko to go up 5-0. With just seconds remaining in the half, Conor Cook made a great play on the try line to score for Arkansas State. They would add a conversion to go up 7-5. As the horn sounded, Mike Baska broke the line again to put the Red Wolves up 12-5 at halftime. Texas nearly had a try to open the second half, but a knock-on brought it back. They recovered quickly, as Felix Olazaron burst across the try line in the corner to come within two points. However, David Snead crushed any hopes of a Texas comeback, as he burst across the line late in the second half for Arkansas State. A late Texas push was halted before the 22-meter line, and Dylan Carrion took the ball away for the final try of the game for Arkansas State.
