U. of California vs Maryland - Collegiate Rugby Championship

The defending champion Cal Bears didn’t miss a step from their 2015 championship run, soundly defeating the Maryland Terps 31-0. The Bears used their fancy footwork to get the opening try from Nick Boyer and a 7-0 lead. Moments later, Russell Webb scored in the corner to bring the lead to 12-0. At the end of the first half, Thomas Robles got a pass in the middle, shaked and baked around some defenders and went over to bring Cal’s halftime lead to 17-0. In the early moments of the second half, Miles Honens made it look easy as he scored for Cal to bring the lead to 24-0. The bears scored again with less than two minutes to go thanks to a good run from James Kondrat to put the match out of reach for good.
